Two-Team 6 Point Teaser: Tampa Bay -3 / Green Bay +7

This teaser moves the lines of two games I like on their own, through multiple key numbers.

Tampa Bay needs this win to stay alive in the playoff hunt while Carolina has already been eliminated.  Bryce Young is 0-9 SU and 2-6-1 ATS against winning teams.  Carolina has covered six of their last seven, and the oddsmakers have adjusted for the public jumping on the bandwagon.

While both Green Bay and Minnesota have secured playoff bids, they continue to compete for playoff position.  In their prior meeting this year, Minnesota won 31-29 but was outhgained by 91 yards, and I’m happy to take a touchdown in what is essentially a pick’em matchup.

Monday, December 30

Iowa +3

The Iowa Hawkeyes take on the Missouri Tigers in Nashville at the Music City Bowl.  When compared to other bowlers, Iowa is better than Mizzou in net scoring, net yards per point, and net yards per play.  I’ll take the live dog in what should be a low scoring affair.

Wednesday, January 1

Ohio State -2.5

Ohio State meets Oregon for the second time this season in the second round of the college playoffs in the Rose Bowl.  Ryan Day is 0-2 against Oregon, so why would we back him here?  Rested bowl teams are 0-6 SU and 1-5 ATS against bowlers without rest, and teams seeking same season revenge against conference rivals are 6-0 ATS since 1990.
